The problem with saying "always" or "forever" in a relationship


(especially if you’re young) is that the second  time you say it, you really start to believe it. Even if the realistic side of you can see that in a few years you probably wont be together, you still see it lasting for a very long time. This means that you allow yourself to intertwine them with thoughts of your future. When they’re no longer in your life though, it isn’t just your right now that has change but everything you thought you knew about your life. Which means you didnt just lose the person you love but years of your life that you thought you would have.
